Ahmed Awad

Svobodná demokratická škola Gaudi

Why Gaudi and What’s my role here?

I had always heard about the democratic teaching method, but once I learned more about the school system and the level of freedom and independence the students have, I believed that it existed. This positive feeling led me to want to get involved in any way I could. In my role here, I aim to be more actively engaged and bring my unique background to the table, sharing my society and traditions with the students so they can experience the positive aspects. I also plan to organize events centered around Egyptian history, cuisine, and the Arabic language, which I believe will be incredibly enjoyable.

Education

I have a bachelor’s degree in tourism and hotel management where I learned etiquette, hospitality and business administration. Additionally, I also focused on academic English (IELTS) to assist with English language instruction. And I’m planning on doing a masters degree in the future.

Experience

I worked as an English teaching assistant and during my study I did yearly training. I volunteered in a community center in Budapest, Hungary in 2023. So I have worked with many students and children during my life journey and still want it to continue.

A little about me

I am 27 years old and come from Egypt. Arabic is my native language, but I am also proficient in English and trying to learn Czech language. In my free time, I make electronic music and enjoy cooking. I have experience working in some restaurants and have a passion for computers, photography and animals.
